Privacy Policy
Privacy policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not sell it, and we never ask you for gambling account details — because we have no use for them.
Who is responsible
Playhouse Gazette (playhousegazette.com) publishes this comparison site and decides how the limited personal data described here is handled. For any privacy question, write to editor@playhousegazette.com.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write, so we can reply.
- Basic analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying stats about which pages are read, so we know what is useful. This relies on the cookies covered in our cookie policy.
- Your cookie choice. Stored in your own browser so we do not ask again on every visit.
We do not run user accounts, we do not take payments, and we never collect information about your gambling, deposits or winnings. Once you click through to an operator, that operator's privacy policy applies, not ours.
Why we are allowed to use it
Under UK GDPR we rely on your consent for non-essential analytics cookies (you can decline them), and on our legitimate interest in replying to you and keeping the site secure and working. Essential cookies that simply make the site function do not need consent.
How long we keep it
Emails and form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Analytics data is aggregated and retained in summary form.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email editor@playhousegazette.comand we will respond within the timeframe UK law requires. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
